OCEAN ACIDIFICATION

The ocean is sending us warning signs that we can't ignore. As carbon emissions rise, the seas are becoming more acidic, weakening the shells of marine life and threatening entire ecosystems. Coral reefs, often called the "rainforests of the sea," are bleaching at alarming rates, losing their vibrant colors and life. Without immediate action, these vital ecosystems may vanish, leaving behind lifeless seas and devastating impacts on marine biodiversity. The ripple effect will be felt by all of us—millions who rely on the ocean for food, income, and coastal protection. This is a call to act now, before it’s too late, to reduce carbon emissions and safeguard our oceans for future generations.
